I drive over the Woodhead Pass regularly to visit 2 of my kids that live in Manchester. Very often it is cold, windy and foggy, generally miserable. But when the sun is out the view is glorious so on this day I pulled in to a layby and set up to paint on the highest point looking across to West Yorkshire and the 3 reservoirs in the valley. Its an epic view, classic Yorkshire!

This picture is presented in a white wooden frame hand made in ‘St Ives’ moulding that really compliments the picture.
