I have always wanted to paint a snow scene plein air and experience the totally unique palette of colours. Just before Christmas we had snow over night and it was a good 5cm covering. So I gathered my kit and walked out to find a spot to paint. It was cold, so I only had a few hours but despite the temperature I really enjoyed the experience and was happy with the outcome.
