The Don Valley in Sheffield is home to the famous Forgemasters, The buildings cover a huge area either side of the River Don behind Meadowhall. I wanted to capture this industrial landscape and this view of the tall buildings, painted on a bright sunny day, suggests the scale of the structures. I would like to go back and do a series of paintings in the area.
