Saltfleet Beach
On a windy, cold February day I drove over to the Lincolnshire coast and parked up in Saltfleet. After a walk across the salt flat I made it to the beach and found a spot to paint. The tide was out, the clouds were heavy with a little drizzle in the air. As I started to paint the distant sea and wet sand the wind picked up and fine sand was blowing in waves across the beach. It was cold. I was painting for maybe 2 hours and eventually called it a day with a record of the day, such a typical winters day on the Lincolnshire Coast.
