This is a classic view, the old North Leverton Windmill dwarfed by the scale of the imposing West Burton Power Station. The old and the not so old! I painted this in early May 2024 with my easel set up at the edge of a field of rapeseed in full bloom. It was a glorious display of colour contrasting with the ploughed fields and cloudy sky. This is an iconic view on a beautiful spring day.

Presented in a beautiful handmade wooden float frame in a medium oak finish.
