A long long time ago, before the internet and smart phones I was steered away from a career in art towards industry and so I found myself at Lancaster University to study Economics & Politics. These were good times and I made some life long friends. In the past few years we have started an annual reunion in Morecambe, visiting our old haunts and the Uni. I was there early on 14th March, a stunningly crisp sunny day with incredible views across the bay to the Lakes. This is an epic view.

And so I spent the day painting the Bay and the Lakeland hills, had some lovely chats with a couple of creatives who were walking past - a good day.

The painting is on canvas in oils of the hills and the beach as the tide quickly flows out.
