The day after storm Ciaran I walked along the canal and section of the River Don. It was in full flood with large tree trunks, branches and debris shooting along in the fast flowing water. I set up to sketch at low lock where the River passes the opening to the navigation canal.

It is presented in a handmade black wooden float frame.
