On a very cold, icy day I walked up to Bamford Edge overlooking Ladybower Reservoir in the Peaks to paint the view. The view is fantastic with the water, the bridge and the distant hills. A great day out. I had some lovely chats with passing walkers and one took a lovely photo of me painting. This is one of my favourite spots and on this day it didn’t disappoint. A unique place and a unique original painting.
