The tractor tram lines carve through the wheat making interesting shapes and shadows in the bright July sun. I really love to paint all stages of the wheat harvest using the buttery texture of the oil paint to create interest and movement.

The painting is ready to hang framed in a hand made white wooden ‘St Ives’ frame that really sets off the picture.
