It’’s fair to say I love The Lakes and specifically Keswick. Walking in the hills around Borrowdale and Keswick is a joy and this painting was completed at Patchings Art Festival in July as a 3 day demonstration piece. It was from a photo taken on a recent family walk, the way the sunlight picked out fields and hills made for a good picture.

Framed with a simple black wooden frame.
