The imposing Coltran Mill dominates the Mexborough Navigation Canal that runs alongside the River Don through the town. Once a busy industrial canal the mill is now empty and falling into disrepair. It is flanked by new homes that take advantage of the canal side views. This was painted on a beautiful sunny November day from the bike path. It is presented in a handmade black wooded float frame.
