I have been a regular visitor to the Lake District for as long as I can remember, it is an inspiring landscape and there are countless opportunities to paint. A favourite walk is along the shore of Derwent Water in Keswick and the views down Borrowdale are amazing, different with the changing weather.

This is a view looking down the lake to Borrowdale and the brooding hills on a dark wet day. Very atmospheric.

The painting is ready to hang in a complimentary white wooden frame using ‘St Ives’ moulding.
