Packman Lane is a fantastic road that winds its way past the wind farm near Harthills. On a steep, tight bend there is a view across a field to a derelict barn and I have always thought what a great painting it would make. On a super hot day in August I went to paint the barn with strong shadows cast across the harvested field of stubble.
