Bassenthwaite Looking North From Whinlatter Terrace
Part of my Powter How series this is a view of Bassenthwaite Lake looking North from the terrace half way up Whinlatter Pass West of Keswick in the Lake District. I have cycled up this famous climb hundreds of times and always been inspired by the view and that sense of elevation. With the Skiddaw mountain range to the east this is an epic lakeland view.
Framed by hand in a simple wooden frame, painted in matt grey.
Oil on Board. 60cm x 50cm
