On a trip to Northumberland we visited the beautiful village of Alnmouth and I took the opportunity to set up on the beach to paint the view looking south with Amble in the distance. It was an autumn day with a heavy sky and great colour in the wet sand. A lovely place to paint.

This beach scene is presented in a hand made white wooden ‘St Ives’ frame and is ready to hang.
