Clumber Park National Trust Exhibition and Workshops

The Parsonage at Clumber Park.
I am delighted to announce an exhibition of my work at Clumber Park over the Easter holidays in April 2025. You will be able to come along to the Parsonage which is part of the main amenities in the centre of Clumber and see my work, entry is free. I will have my latest Yorkshire Landscapes on show together with some new work capturing the beauty of Clumber.
During this 3 week Easter period I will be working in and around The Parsonage so come and take a look.
I am also running 3 workshops - Mixed Media Sketching out in the Park. These are on Weds 2nd, 9th & 16th April and can be booked through the Clumber Park events page on the National Trust website (the link is below). Be quick as there are only 8 places per workshop and they will fill up fast. During the workshop I will show you my mixed media, Layered approach to sketching to capture the beauty of Clumber.

Painting Plein air as much as possible I try and bring an immediacy and freshness to my work with gestural mark making and a bold use of colour.

Hello!
I have just taken down my exhibition at DGLAM, it was an honour to have work on display in such a lovely gallery. I have been taking photos and uploaded everything to my shop page so you can browse the paintings now.
I am really looking forward to spring, some warmer brighter days and getting back into some plein air painting. I have missed it!
My next focus is an exhibition at Clumber Park over Easter. This is my local National Trust estate and a great place for walking and painting. I have spent hours there over the years. The show is in the old Parsonage and I will be hold a mutli-media sketching workshop each Weds during the 3 week show. Places on the workshop are limited so go to the events page on the National Trust website for Clumber Park to book your place.
My first ever 6 week drawing and painting course is well under way at the Pavillion in Tickhill. This is a 6 week course, delivered once a week on Tuesday evenings. I am in the process of organising the second course in April / May so look out for further info.
