Latest News…..January 2026

Happy New Year,

I hope you’ve had a great Christmas and face into the New Year recharged and refreshed. I have had a few weeks away from painting and start 2026 inspired with new ideas and projects to work on.

As I write it is super cold, possibly too cold for plein air painting but I think I’m going to have to tough it out. I have a deadline of 6th March and the start of Harrogate Art Fair where I have a stand and want to show case new work. It should be a great event.

Other plans for 2026 are well under way with dates for workshops and an exhibition at Clumber Park booked in.

I continue to take bookings for demos and workshops with art groups so if you would like to book me for your group drop me a line. Take a look at the dedicated page here on my website.

I am also working hard on the two events I organise each year, St Mary’s Church Art Exhibition on 8th, 9th & 10th May and Art at the Farm on 2nd & 3rd August - look out for more details nearer the time.

….. I nearly forgot to mention…..Don’t miss my cameo appearance on Landscape Artist of the Year that is on Sky Arts in a couple of weeks, the new series starts on Weds 14th January and I am on the first Keswick episode. Exciting!!
