Hello!

Here we are, in November, warm, wet dark days, where has the light gone?? Not ideal for plein air artists. I’m looking forward to some cold crisp mornings where the light sparkles for a while.

I am still moving along with my palette knife practice, lots of little studies as I hone my skills and try and push the level of expression a tad. I feel as though I am making progress but with a way to go.

I attended the latest Doncaster Art Market and had a great day meeting new artists and returning customers which was lovely.

I am making plans for 2026 with dates for a residency and workshops in Clumber Park again, another running of my art class in Feb & March and taking bookings for demos and workshops with local art groups.

And so as we head towards Christmas and the shortest day I will continue on my chosen path and look forward to hitting 2026 at speed.
